If you are growing natives in your yard, and want to save seed or propagate anything, this is the book!.

Living in California I'm always looking for ways to conserve water and yet have a flowering yard and containers; this book is very helpful in showing the various plants available; all of the nurseries that I go to have these plants; most of my plants are growing in containers (small and large) and they are terra cotta; I would highly recommend this book!.

I have really gotten into native landscaping particularly because my biology background and the fact that they require less maintenance and water. The author really gave a lot of insight into growing native plants to California.
